Egyptology Pop-culture Reference #1

While digging through our desk drawers looking for something interesting to listen to in our spacious metropolitan offices, we came across a CD which, frankly, none of us remembered purchasing but thought we'd pass it along as part of our continuing mission to notify you, our beloved readers, of any and all bits of cultural flotsam that floats to the top of our radar screen (how many clichés can we put into one sentence?). It's called Egyptology by World Party. Now frankly, strictly as far as the music goes, we much prefer Goodbye Jumbo for getting our World Party fix, but this is still rather a good listen and it has the whole Egypto-mania thing going for it as well.

It seems that, besides the nice cover art showing a mini-sarcophagus and the Great Pyramid, there isn't too much in the way of Egyptology-related material here, with the exception of one song titled Curse of the Mummy's Tomb. Still and all, if you happen to be a collector of things Egyptological, we feel certain this is a must-have item. And it seems to be a cutout so it will no doubt be cheap.
